Baryn Futa supports the arts world in a way that few others do, putting his money behind certain artists. He is a patron to literally dozens of modern artists and has a particular interest in contemporary art with an emphasis on time based media. Baryn Futa was not interested in the arts until after he volunteered with the Denver Art Museum, which was after his retirement. This spurred his own interest in the arts and he hopes that he can help to encourage that in others. Baryn Futa is today a member of some of the most well known museums in the world, including the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Museum or Arts, and The Jewish Museum. He is also an art collector whose pieces are sometimes loaned out to museums and exhibits.
